Maj. Ali Waki-uz-Zaman (Retd)

Maj. Ali Waki-uz-Zaman (Retd) comes from a respectable family of Sylhet District. He studied in Central Govt. School, Chaklala & Gordon College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He joined in the War of Liberation as a freedom fighter in the month of April 1971. He was trained by 59 Mountain Div of Indian Army to carry out special operation deep inside Bangladesh.

Maj. Ali Waki-uz-Zaman (Retd) He was commissioned in Bangladesh Army in the year 1971 and took part in the War of Liberation. He has commanded Kailashor/Moulovibazar Sub Sector under No 4 Sector. His HQ was inside Bangladesh at Kulaura PS of Moulovibazar district. Maj. Ali Waki-uz-Zaman (Retd) He has done various courses in home and abroad including Brigade level tactical courses in China. He has served in the army in various appointmenteg. Adjutant, Company Commander, 2nd in Command of a Infantry battalion. He as instructor in Army school of Education and Administration. He also served as an instructor (Management) in Bangladesh Military Academy.

He has served as an adjutant of re-organized 18 E. Bengal at Sylhet in the year 1972.He served as Quartermaster, Company Commander, Second in Command for his unit. He commanded a Commando Company of 55 Brigade at Jessore Cant and moved to Dhaka to secure Army HQ during the Sipahi Biplob in 1975. He was an instructor of Army School of Education & Administration and Officer in Charge of Junior & Senior Officers Adm. Courses. He was also DAA & QMG of an Infantry Battalion.

After retiring from the Army he served as Factory Manager, Shinan (BD) Ltd. (Korean Garments Industry), Chief Security Officer of East West Greed Line Korean Development Corporation (During Construction), Executive Director of Manikchori Agro Industry (Khagrachori), Chief Security Officer of Mitsubishi Jamuna Fertilizer Project (Tarakandi), Chief Security Officer of Jamuna Multi Purpose Bridge Project, He has worked as the General Manager of Integrated Security Services Ltd. to control the operation of Oxydental (Magurcherra project), Oxy-Kvaerner Gas Plant and all operations of Sylhet Division. He created the security business in Sylhet by his able leadership, sales technique and performance.

He is a dual citizen of Bangladesh & USA. He visited India, Pakistan, UK, UAE, Belgium & Canada. He finds interest in Security Business & challenges and thus he joined Elite Force as Executive Director of Sylhet Division and launched the operation in the year 2000.
